Gracie Blue a shepherd mix the Dog needs a home

GRACIE BLUE

Is a sweet 5-month-old German Shepherd-Boxer mix pup who was found with her dying mom and 6 surviving siblings in a field in California.

Gracie Blue has the long legs of a German Shepard and the coat of a shepherd. Gracie has a medium short fur, she has a sweet and loving disposition and is a smart little gal who is training easily in her puppy classes. Gracie is learning to walk on a Harness and leash and is loving her daily excursions and playtime in the yard with the other dogs both small breeds and large.

Gracie Blue gets along well with children, adults, dogs of all sizes. She is too interested in cats, so we recommend a no cat home.

Adoption fee includes spaying at one year through our vet for local adopters.   She has all her vaccines, rabies and is treated for worms and parasites.  Gracie needs a young adult dog companion for mentorship and play, or has access to one on a daily basis or be enrolled in doggie daycare a couple times a week.

Gracie needs an adopter who is committed to continuing her dog training classes and getting Gracie to the point of taking and passing her Canine Good Citizen Certificate and will have the time and motivation to work with and train her daily.

Healthy dogs:

As a rescue saving dogs from starvation, Neglect and Emaciation, RPR focus's on feeding each rescued animal the healthiest dog food made of Human Grade ingredients to help them recover from their stress and starvation. We share this with our adopters and encourage them to keep their new pet on the same foods for optimal health and a long life.

Adoption fee is 495.00.  This covers transport from California to Washington, to the rescue facility, adoption and medical such as certain vaccines, worming, parasite, and flea/tick control, health certificate and wellness exam, microchip and any extra medical attention a dog may require such as dental, anal gland expression, emergency medical care.

Also, we don't receive any grants so we rely solely on adoption fees and donations to fund all of our rescue efforts. Finally, we take on "Special Needs" dogs with high vet costs and pay for their procedures with 'leftover' funds from adoption fees for healthier dogs.

About Rompin Paws Rescue

Rompin Paws Rescue is a licensed, non-profit organization working towards our 501C3, specializing in rescuing moms to be, moms with puppies, puppies without moms and other Death Row dogs. We are located in Western Washington State.

Our passion is to bring people and pets together.

Countless dogs are without homes and in need of assistance. These are dogs who would make wonderful and faithful companions if only they could connect with the right person or family. We have made it our mission to help them do this. At the same time, we hope to enrich the lives of those who adopt them.

We strive to match our dog's needs and personality to the preferences and requirements of each potential adopter. We believe this is a crucial component of the process and will help ensure a life-long relationship.

Our primary focus is on small mixed breeds, moms, and puppies of small and large breeds, although we do occasionally take in larger dogs. We work collaboratively with shelters, other rescue groups, and individuals, both locally and in California.

Healthy dogs: As a rescue saving dogs from starvation, Neglect and Emaciation, RPR focus's on feeding each rescued animal the healthiest dog food made of Human Grade ingredients to help them recover from their stress and starvation.
